Adding a ‘Pay Dues’ button
A while ago the Boston QWAFAFEW chapter found that collecting dues and single meeting fees at the events was distracting and often ineffective. We decided to try a “PayPal” payment button on the website. It has made collecting payments and accepting credit cards simple. The good news is that it is really easy to setup, and the new site templates already include the framework for adding a payments button to your chapter site.
We used PayPal, and it’s easy. We also accept bitcoin. You might choose some other payment processor, and that will probably be equally easy.
While you are setting up your new site, you may want to add an online payment option.
The PayPal button is much appreciated by members and visitors who want to use a credit card, and it’s even useful at the door to accept such payments.
